Why Use eLearning Templates in Your Course?

Are you developing online training content (eLearning)? Do you want to save money and time? Are there multiple members on your team and you need everything to be consistent? Are there varying levels of technical expertise on the team?

These are just a few questions that we come across while building online training content. Using templates to build eLearning can address many of the questions above. Before discussing a few points let me describe what I mean by eLearning templates.

Online video can be a great medium for engaging your audience.  In fact, a recent white paper (download it here for free) written by a leading elearning research analyst firm called The Brandon Hall Group discussed the benefits of incorporating rich media such as video into an online training environment.  Even though that paper is focused on elearning, I believe the concept can be translated across other use-cases, including sales pitches, marketing demos, and company presentations.

If you’ve been following Facebook in the news recently, there’s been a flurry of media backlash regarding privacy and security issues with Facebook’s new facial recognition technology.  Earlier today I Googled “Facebook security issues” and got over 7 million hits in the form of blog posts and news articles posted just within the past week!
