Responsibilities:
We are looking for a creative yet data-driven Online Marketing Manager as a core addition to the marketing team. This position will primarily be responsible for bringing potential customers through our conversion funnel to becoming paid customers. Startup experience, or at least a startup mindset, is important. We need someone who is hungry for a win and works day-to-day with a sense of urgency and passion. Core responsibilities include:
- Assist in developing a complete lead nurturing and content strategy with the goal of converting free trial users to paying customers
- Conceptualize, create, and manage email marketing campaigns utilizing Marketo’s marketing automation system
- Write compelling and effective copy for email, ads, and landing pages
- Become the expert in marketing-sales conversion funnel and email marketing best practices
- Analyze and identify opportunities to optimize the conversion funnel
Skills & Experience:
- Sense of humor is required
- Minimum 3-5 years of online marketing experience working in a B2B SaaS company
- Email marketing experience a must
- Superior writing and communication skills
- Understand how to conduct A|B or multivariate testing as well as how to segment customer data in order to continually optimize campaigns
- Prior experience in using Marketo is highly preferred
- Familiarity with HTML (Dreamweaver) and image editing tools (i.e., Photoshop, SnagIt, etc.) is a huge plus
- Detailed oriented and goal driven – must be able to take ownership of tasks and run with it
- BA/BS degree preferred
- Minimal to no travel

Knoodle is looking for an Inside Sales Associate who wants to leverage their skills and talent in a fast growing company. We are looking for a self-motivated team member to help us sell to small and medium businesses in a high volume environment. Are you comfortable communicating by phone and email, establishing trusting relationships, and communicating with confidence? You will be responsible for successfully nurturing and managing the "sales cycle" from post-introduction follow-up to close SMB prospects; driving new business by following up on leads generated through marketing programs. No cold calling. We have an established marketing approach that generates leads from inbound and outbound marketing, advertising and webinars. Calls and emails are to people who have indicated interest in Knoodle's solution. This role reports directly to the Director of Sales.
- Respond and follow up on inbound inquiries via email and phone, identify business opportunities
- Manage prospects through the sales process
- Document all sales activity in Salesforce
- Provide customer feedback and requirements to Marketing and Product Management
- Provide sales service that supports the prospects' buying process
- Communicate weekly activities and pipeline to Sales Director

Qualification & Responsibilities:
Ideal candidate would have minimum five years of developing web based software with hands on experience in Java, PHP, and Perl languages and a solid working knowledge using LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySql and PHP) preferably in a start-up company, early stage environment or skunk works in larger corporate entity.
The candidate must be proficient in object oriented methodologies with demonstrable experience in all stages of application development life cycle, from requirements-gathering and brainstorming, analysis, coding, testing and documentation.
Core Competencies / Skills:
- Extensive experience developing rich Internet applications J2EE and OOP/OOD expertise highly desired
- Strong backend development experience (i.e. LAMP, Java)

- Hands-on experience with source control & release management systems such as CVS or Subversion

- Solid understanding and a number of years experience in developing interactive applications using Adobe Flex is a must
- Strong ActionScript programming experience for interface elements
